Last month, London saw the welcome return of the Birds Eye View Film Festival, a festival which began life as an annual shorts programme, but has since grown to a fully fledge 6 day event in its own right, now in its 3rd and most ambitious year to date. For anyone not in the know, BEV was created in reaction to the pitiful percentage of female directors the film industry has produced, as a dedicated space in which to view their vast variety of work.
