It’s pretty hard to describe Sasha Belyaev’s The Rite of Youth; Small interstellar vessel on a psychedelic journey through space and time, overcomes a series of failures to fulfil its mysterious mission, is how the filmmaker describes it. I’d describe it as eerie, unnerving and frighteningly original (make sure to give the credits a read!).
