Since we last spoke to director Gabriel Tupinamba (DN94), he’s left England for his native Brazil, but has continued to create the distinct shorts that brought him to our attention in the first place. Gabriel’s new film After (Depois) is his attempt to balance formalism and entertainment in a single piece. He joins us to discuss the nature of art and failing in the right direction.
