Shot on a RedCam 4K, Damien Mace and Alexis Wajsbrot’s Red Balloon sets its standards high right from the beginning, with an ambitious steadycam shot opening the film and setting the scene. With a team of 30 professionals (including Danny Boyle’s Colorist), the high production levels carry on throughout the film and tension builds as the story of a babysitter and an upset child unravels into something much darker.
