Kubatek

The bold, geometric cuts and shapes of Polish fashion house Kubatek combine with the creative eye of director, animator and motion designer Szymon Pawlik for a film which reflects the cyclical nature of fashion through its production methods:

“Trends in fashion, art and architecture come back every few years. The fashion makes a circle, returning in a modified manner. That’s why the idea was to use two cameras and a projector as an illustration of this phenomenon – reflection of reality and creation of its new form. Projections of masks are the result of a search through the architecture and design worlds, as well as Japanese avant-garde of the 1960’s. They create a compilation, a certain synthesis of thought, dream picture and individual interpretation of Szymon’s drawings achieved through cooperation with 3d graphic designers.”
