Wrapping up its 13th edition, the Mobile Film Festival illustrates that even the shortest of short films can be poetic, aesthetic and impactful. This year the seven winners (which you can watch below), selected from 1055 films received from 88 countries, told effective stories which featured issues such as migrants, gender, night terrors, brotherhood, harassment and the value of a child’s eye view of the world.

Four of the winning filmmakers will be supported thanks to:

2 BNP Paribas Grants of €15.000 each to direct a film:

  • Monsters, directed by Manon Gaurin, Grand Prize France
  • Unsung Hero, directed by Vinamra Pancharia (India), Grand Prize International

2 CNC grants of 3.000€ each for screenwriting:

  • Yes, No directed by Matteo Tibiletti (Italy), Screenplay Award
  • Raahha directed by Farshad Qaffari & Payam Laghari (Iran), Best Director Award
