It great to see a site that’s enabled filmmamkers to fund their visions, by directly connecting them with the people willing to support their work has decided to showcase some of those projects.
Friday, 9th July will see Kickstarter and Rooftop Films launch the inaugural Kickstarter Film Festival, on the roof of the Old American Can Factory in Gowanus, Brooklyn. The plan is to: Feature 90-plus minutes of footage from a dozen Kickstarter projects.
An initial 300 tickets go on sale today at noon EST for the more than reasonable sum of $10. Full details after the jump.
