Inspired by a true story, San Francisco-based filmmaker/photographer Peter Lee’s Don’t Be a Hero (which screened at both Sundance and SXSW last year) sees a woman attempt to combat the boredom and loneliness of her deeply unhappy life by robbing banks in her lunch break dressed as a cowboy.

Lee goes into detail about the genesis and production of Don’t Be a Hero in this interview with No Film School.
