Capitalism, Consumerism and Greed are not exactly new topics in the world of filmmaking, these are subjects that have been tackled by some hard-hitting directors including the likes of Michael Moore and George A. Romero. Although, I’m hard to pushed to think a film that tackles these issues with the style and originality of Stephen Ong’s When Humans ruled the Earth. It’s an animation full of meticulous detail and dark humour, that really highlights the creativity and imagination from it’s creator. On top of all this……it’s highlighting an important problem in todays society.
