As over a decade of tradition dictates, August bank holiday weekend is the time when team DN packs our bags and heads out to the Reading and Leeds music festivals to showcase some of our favourite shorts from the previous twelve months. It is without a doubt one of the highlights of our year and only possible because of the kickass directors who generously allow us to screen their films. Thanks are of course also due to our fantastic curation partners over at Film Oxford who ensure everything runs like a fine Swiss watch.
As you can see from the posters above, the films run from midnight tonight, all the way through to the predawn hours of Monday morning. But we’ve also thought about those of you who can’t make it to either festival this weekend, and put a playlist of the DN shorts programme so you can join us in spirit.
