Working with our longstanding partners at Film Oxford, August is the month that we here at Directors Notes have the pleasure of screening another cinematic revelry for the crowds heading to the Reading & Leeds Festivals over the bank holiday weekend. The ideal late night spot to head to as your adrenaline is pumping with the ringing of the headliners still in your ears, the Reading & Leeds Cinema Tents feature shorts exclusively selected from the diverse and powerful archive of films shared on DN over the past year – a four day programme which plays a curated selection of thought-provoking, engaging shorts and popular features to delight audiences over the weekend of the 24th – 27th of August. This year is particularly gratifying as two-headed directing machine DANIELS – whose short films Pockets and Impossible Ball we played at Reading & Leeds in 2013 & 2015 respectively – lead this year’s features with their extraordinary multi-verse exploration ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’.

Watch the trailer below for a tantalising sample of this year’s screenings and view the full Cinema Tent lineup and times onsite in the official Reading & Leeds app.
