Having worked on some of Pixar’s biggest features, including Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, WALL-E & Up, Rodrigo Blaas obviously has a fine pedigree in animation ands it shows in his first animated short as a director. Using his connections in the industry Blaas asked some of the best artists in their field to take part in this independent project and together they created the meticulously crafted Alma. Be warned though, all is not as it seems! As we quickly become immersed in the cute, playful world of the titular Alma, things suddenly take a dark and disturbing turn and a children’s toy shop reveals itself as something far more sinister.
