For its new annual peace commission PUMA.Peace, has worked with seven filmmakers from across the globe to create new short works (30 to 90 seconds) under the banner Peace Starts With Me to be shown at the World Peace Festival 2011. The films were all produced by filmmaker network Shooting People, with the creators actively encouraged to share the works on and offline “thus acting as ongoing tools for peace—for all“.
The seven commissioned filmmakers are; Magali Charrier, Tom Gran and Kayleigh Gibbons, Max Hattler, Christine Malloy and Joe Lawlor, Noriko Okaku, Jacco Olivier and Bill Porter – a nice mix of new and familiar filmmaking faces.
