Conceived as an exercise in creating characters from the simplest of shapes, Elise Fachon gives personality and character to a world populated by the normally anonymous PIN. Fachon’s sound design is fantastic at bringing the pins to animated life but if we’re cherry picking favourte aspects, I’d have to single out the wide run cycle shot as pure genius. Hopefully it won’t be too long until we get to pay another visit to planet pin as Fachon has called this a ‘work in progress’ so we may well see more. My interest’s certainly been pricked!
