With recognition from Cannes International Film Festival, The Times BFI London Film Festival, the UK Film Council and the British Film Institute, writer/director Carlo Ortu has tasted varying levels of success, with the string of short films made since graduating from Bournemouth University. Part of the Official Selection for the London Short Film Festival, The Last Man on Earth (one of Ortu’s more recent shorts) is a brief look into how one man copes with the apocalypse and deals with his belief that he is the last of mankind.
