For Max & Laura Braun’s break-up track Blindness, director Michael Fragstein worked closely with Laura Braun to find an approach which would reflect the song’s tone without slavishly following the lyrics. The pair decided that the track’s suggestion of restlessness would best be represented by several night time locations, with the blindness of the title suggested through cutouts and obscured vision. Braun scouted London for locations at which photographer David San Millán del Río captured her cast in the role of forlorn soul. The stills then went to Fragstein who animated them into the final atmospheric promo.
