Written and directed by Guillermo Arriaga, the man behind the narratives of Alejandro González Iñárritu’s trilogy of death and shot by Steven Spielberg’s regular cinematographer Janusz Kaminski. The incredible production values on show in short thriller/horror Broken Night really shouldn’t come as a surprise – even though the short was shot entirely on the reasonably priced Nikon D800 DSLR.
