I was turned on to the multi-faceted work of Luca Dipierro by Directors Notes’ favourite Brent Green a good six months ago and fate has plotted to keep us from getting together for some quality interview time until now. The bonus of that extended courting period being that it’s given me the chance to see several pieces of Luca’s work which we get to discuss, along with his portrait of creation, 24 weeks, 3 Days.

24 Weeks, 3 Days documents the making of John Grider’s mural of the same title. It is a film about art as method and work. About time and patience in work.
