Consciously or not, I suspect the reason many directors take up filmmaking as their tool of expression instead of opting for the pen, is that the visual arts enable them to extend their creative expression beyond the limits of the written word. With his emotionally charged, single shot film Tiny Little Words Brandon McCormick of Whitestone Motion Pictures shows just how crude a tool words can be when needing to express the deepest of emotions.
Those of you familiar with Whitestone Motion Pictures’ work such as the darkly epic Western Blood on my Name, will know that their films pack a punch. Tiny Little Words is no less effective so don’t be surprise if it gets a little dusty whilst you’re watching.
