Whilst we were more perplexed than impressed by the first promo to arrive from David Bowie’s forthcoming album The Next Day, Floria Sigismondi has banished any worries about the Thin White Duke’s visual commissioning skills with her dream paring of Bowie and Tilda Swinton as a contented couple who have their quiet happiness invaded by the disruptive, younger doppelgänger music types living next door in The Stars (Are Out Tonight).
