Whilst there’s much to admire in the natural flow of single shot cinematography from DoP Markus Englmair, it’s the playfully combative, dynamically delivered dialogue between Nathan Darrow and Dominique Johnson, who also wrote and directed, which makes this chance encounter between two ex-high school sweethearts such a joy to watch.
About the Author / MarBelle
MarBelle has a strange compulsion to watch as many films as he can get his hands on and find jobs that give him a legitimate excuse to drill filmmakers about their work. Directors Notes is the multi-decade incarnation of this disorder and remains so much cheaper than film school.
