A track taken from Kathryn Joseph’s new album From When I Wake The Want Is, single shot short film 1111 by London based Director Rob Chiu (last seen on DN here), masterfully charts an unexplained flood of primal emotions over its enigmatic 5 minute running time. As to the film’s meaning, Rob says:
“The film is inspired by the 5 stages of grief – Denial / Anger / Bargaining / Depression / Acceptance. It can also be seen as a metaphor for the state of the world right now but is pretty much open to interpretation.”
And I for one think it’s all the better for having no definitive explanation.
