I’m totally taken with this disquieting, experimental short from Aliens Director Jiajie Yu (who we’ll be hearing more from on DN in a few days) probably because I consider myself a card carrying member of the Night Owls tribe. Jiajie tells us that this mysteriously hypnotic film is his atmospheric tribute to work of Gregory Crewdson, Todd Hido, sci-fi movies and alien abductions.
