While it’s unarguable that as a species we humans have achieved some truly remarkable things far beyond the imaginings of our hunter-gatherer forebearers, we’d be wise to remember that all it takes is the right (or wrong) situation for our animal instincts to rise to the surface. But something else is happening – people from the town are going missing as well, and they all seem to be hikers that frequent the same forest that the girl went missing from.
