Crammed to the brim with recognisable references and topped with a booming trailer-style voice over, (Pedro) Giomi’s World of all Worlds fantasy-horror-cartoon-superhero-sci-fi-musical-drama short for last year’s pop culture festival CCXP is a gloriously fun tongue in cheek celebration of geekdom and a reminder of the shared culture which unites us, even in this time of social distancing.

“The first script came by Claudio Villa from Omelete Company and we worked on it for a few months to get it into shape. After that, we worked a lot on finding a way to put in as many references as we could to illustrate this craziness. For the shoot we used an ARRI ALEXA Mini with Hawk Anamorphic B series lenses and tons of light, and the whole process took us about 3 to 4 months to get it all done.”
